Watching over the flock brings a broad range of responsibilities and considerations for the Senior Pastor and church leadership. Especially as it pertains to the need for church security and safety.
At Tabernacle Holy Gospel Church, we demonstrate the importance of meeting both the physical and spiritual needs of others. The church should be no exception. If we, as the Body of Christ, profess to care for the eternal security of others, and yet, have no regard for the physical well-being of our congregations, we have surely failed.
With an increase in criminal activity and acts of violence being committed against our houses of worship, the church must become intentional in its efforts to create an atmosphere of awareness and safety.
